Students
Students are considered graduate or PhD students of crystallography and related disciplines under the age of 35 (including those who turn(ed) 35 during the year 2015). Under any circumstances delegates with the obtained PhD or above the age of 35 cannot register as students. Proof of status, including the supervisor's contact, university document proving the student status, or the passport/ID copy may be demanded.
Retired scientists
Retired persons are considered delegates over the age of 65 (including those who turned 65 during the year 2015) and who are NOT regularly employed. Delegates who register at this category might be asked to proof of their retirement status.
