By train:
Kutná Hora is well connected to Prague, with trains leaving the Prague main station (Hlavní nádraží) every two hours. The journey takes about two hours. An international train line from Prague to Poland passes through nearby Kolín (10 km from Kutná Hora).
The Kutná Hora main station (Kutná Hora hlavní nádraží) is not within a walking distance from the city centre (about 4 km), so you need to change to a local train for Kutná Hora město station (2 stops) after you arrive. It meets the arrival of nearly all the express trains, leaving a five-minute gap for transfer. The ride takes ten minutes.
You can also take a local bus (no. 1) into town. The bus stop is right in front of the main station, the ride takes around 20 minutes.
